A Year in Review … and a Look Forward to 2024

As the calendar switches from “2023” to “2024,” it’s time to reflect on another year in the rearview mirror. Once again, I find myself proud of the remarkable achievements I’ve seen at SimpleLegal and ContractWorks over the past twelve months, all driven by our team’s hard work, dedication, and expertise.

As we planned out the year for SimpleLegal and ContractWorks, we knew that our goal was to unlock value for our customers through our growing portfolio of products serving both the ELM and CLM markets. Going into 2024, I am exceedingly proud to see that – thanks to our incredible teamwork in the service of our customers – SimpleLegal and ContractWorks have done just that.

In 2023, we intensified our commitment to customer value with enhanced functionality in both SimpleLegal and ContractWorks through 103 product releases (regular updates), plus 13 completely new features and products. SimpleLegal now offers more precision-focused financial tools such as seamless invoice resubmission and advanced reporting for data-driven decisions. Task management and bulk actions boost efficiency, while a customer-facing, AI-powered Invoice Validation Rules (IVR) capability ensures seamless billing guideline enforcement, further enhancing the overall customer experience.

ContractWorks users enjoyed even more streamlined contract management with our latest features, all driven by the power of AI. An intuitive intake form simplifies the contract management process, while version control ensures up-to-date and accurate information, reducing risk. Emphasizing collaboration, our platform enables seamless teamwork. Robust reporting provides data-driven insights, and integration capabilities ensure clear alignment with existing workflows.

The results?

  • Approximately 10% average cost savings with SimpleLegal
  • 97 average hours saved every month with ContractWorks
  • 96% average customer satisfaction
  • Only 95 days from deployment to value

In 2023, our commitment to empowering our customers reached new heights, delivering unparalleled value through a comprehensive array of services; those included everything from training sessions and thought leadership webinars to user group, help center articles, and “office hours.” We were more dedicated than ever to enhancing your success, making your journey with us not just a partnership — but a valuable and transformative experience.

Lastly – living up to our team’s motto of “don’t work for recognition, but do work worthy of recognition” – we were proud to be the recipient of several industry awards, including “Overall LegalTech Data Solution of the Year” from the LegalTech Breakthrough Awards and “Product of the Year” from the Business Intelligence Group’s Awards for Business, both for SimpleLegal’s Enhanced Reporting feature.
